Meet Captain Mike!
Captain Mike, the seasoned mariner and the heart of our operation, is at the helm of each tour to ensure not only your safety but also an immersive and carefree experience.
With a wealth of knowledge about the local waters and a passion for creating lasting memories, Captain Mike is dedicated to making your boating excursion extraordinary.
Captain Mike grew up on the Texas Gulf Coast and is a life-long boater. A second generation Charter Captain, he learned how to pilot and dock a boat long before driving a car. He has spent the last four summers plying the waters of West Bay, from Clinch Park to Northport, exploring all that it has to offer, from secluded beaches to popular anchorages and the ideal spots to watch the Cherry Festival Air Shows, concerts and nightly sunsets.
Captain Mike is a Landscape Architect by education, home builder by trade in Seattle for the last several decades and, most recently, a golf course owner in the North Cascade Mountain range. Together with his family, he relocated to Traverse City to be closer to his TC-native wife’s family.
